My life's course
The quality of one's education has two parts: the source of the education and the aptitude of the individual. In the small community of Ennis, Montana I experienced excellent educators , who with authority, taught their students the value of knowledge. I saw many of my peers, high in aptitude, excel in the subjects of math, science, and communication.
My adult education started at St. Patrick Hospital School of Radiologic Technology located in Missoula, MT. It was in this career of 20 years I gained the apptitude for garnering and applying knowledge in the field of electronics with its profound effect on life.
In parallel with my 20 year career creating radiographic images, I attended Montana State University earning a B.S. and an M.S. degree in electrical engineering. My graduate degree was fully financed by Spectrum Labs MSU Bozeman, a university affiliated research lab funded primarily to produce fine resolution frequency stabilized lasers. My role during my graduate education was to understand the physics of the system enabling me to design, build, and test a digital controller correcting frequency deviations through feedback. While a Kalman filter was mathematically modeled and tested success came through the implementation of a digital low pass, first order filter. It was likely the first digitally controlled frequency stabilized laser of any of the numerous stabilized lasers on campus.
Electronic Realization was formed out of ambition to continue working in the field of electronic circuit design with an emphasis in embedded systems. Below is a list, though not exhaustive, of the circuitry with which ER has proffeciency designing, testing, and manufacturing.
